| Chante Noel - French Caribbean Christmas
Sing-along with Traditional Food |
Season greetings!
It is with pleasure that the new MBMB Committee 2007-2008 introduces a fresh event schedule centred around the traditional French Caribbean festive calendar. In the coming year MBMB will celebrate our rich cultural heritage by bringing to life key events right here in London. And with Christmas on the horizon, we will start with Chante Noel! Join us on Saturday December 8th @ Anda De Bridge Bar for that warm Caribbean Christmas welcome and taste of home. There is something for everyone: Traditional drumming, Christmas chanting, belote & dominoes, great food (Jambon Noel !!!) and free entry. What better way to spend a grey British winter afternoon? (DETAILS BELOW) The Chante Noel will be great fun, it's the last chance to catch up and store some French Caribbean cultural vibes before the year ends - so we hope to see you all there.
A pli ta and Happy Xmas Holiday!

*Three ways to Donate and Help this Christmas:
1) The French Caribbean Association of Dijon "Koulè Kréol" is joining us to provide live Gwoka music. Eight Ka players, Singers and Dancers will come sing with us so the ambiance will be real and authentic!! MBMB and the group are sharing the transport cost but accomodation is still required for Saturday night (8th Dec), and we are looking for a few "hosts" who would welcome 1 or 2 person(s) at their home. Please contact us!
2) Dear Members, please bring a small gift for the Kids so they can enjoy a nice Xmas Tree Party. One of our members has been "recruited" to be our very own Creole Papa Noel to distribute the presents. Any undistributed gifts will be given to children in need by the Samaritan Purse Charity. For more information and ideas for small gifts please go to Samaritan Purse website
3) The French Caribbean Association (FCA) MBMB is made up of amazing people just like you. If you would like to join our team of volunteers or make a donation or share your story & experience with your community, please contact us at comite@mbmb-fca.com or during the event.
